Alicia Sylverstone has made it no secret that is she is a vegetarian in her PETA campaigns.  She represents our All American Rebel- standing up for what she believes in.

Now she is coming out with her own vegan book, The Kind Diet.  It comes out October 12th, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!  Micheal Parrish, founder of ecorazzi, interviews Sylverstone about the book on CrazySexyLife.

Eva Mendes is not afraid to bare it all in her recent PETA (People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals) Ad to speak out against wearing fur.  In her interview with PETA she mentions that high end designers in the fashion industry are still big on fur.  But, Eva stands her ground, “There are way too many amazing faux fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur. I want people to know that there are options; that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn’t cool. But respecting all life forms is cool. Very cool.”

This poster- one we have all seen and some have idolized- is a testimony to an innocent boom.  So many times intentional design and creation is intended to be “the it thing” for the era.  Yet, most often times that photograph or fashion piece that becomes a mark in history was created with no intention other than to create.

Farrah Fawcett is one of those icons brands like Vintage Blue look to for inspiration.  I was a little young during her big buzz, but it lingered, and my hairstylist was even giving young little girls the Farrah Fawcett flip.

VB’s Set Free got a chance to catch up with Lady Gaga in Boston on the set of Wale’s new music video shoot for “Chillin,” his new single with Lady Gaga directed by Chris Robinson. Set Free brought her some Vintage Blue t-shirts.

We love her over the top style and how she is not afraid to express herself. She’s the true definition of the Vintage Blue “Rebel” girl. We hope to see our t-shirts fused into her eccentric style hitting the red carpet somewhere.  

From the moment I heard Leela James’s remake of “Don’t Speak” by No Doubt I was a fan. Who was this singer with such a powerful, soulful voice singing about “Where’d the soul go / It’s all about the video / We don’t sing no more / Where’d the music go?” With a style to match from her signature fro to stylish gear. I couldn’t wait to hang out with her at her album release party for her new album “Let’s Do it Again,” paying tribute to all the great artist that helped pave the way for soul music.

We headed to the infamous venue SOB’s in NYC and Leela James did not disappoint. She got on stage and brought the house down with all her classics and unbelieveable remakes’ like “It’s A Man’ Man’s World” by James Brown. She was so sweet and really loved the Vintage Blue Tee’s we brought her, “Rosie” and (”Live Green”which will be available shortly on our site).

PS: I know she looks like “If this Chick don’t get off of me”… I couldn’t help it I was a little to excited LOL!!!

Everything happens for a reason. Liza is not meant to be stuck in an office sitting behind a desk making cold calls. So on this faithful day she left her 9 to 5 behind and hit the open road riding up 95 with her partner Set Free ready to make it happen.

Just another day on the grind, led us to the Asher Roth MTV Video shoot, in case your like Asher who? He’s hip hop’s next great white hope, hailing from Pa, compared to the likes of Eminem and taking over the airwaves with his new single “I Love College”

We rolled up on the set and blessed Asher with some Undrcrwn gear, our partner Set Free’s line and laced the girls with some Vintage Blue tees  which will be featured in the next Asher Roth video on MTV.
