Happy Halloween

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

I decided I would be a cross between Marilyn Monroe, one of my favorite fashion inspiration and Laverne from Laverne and Shirley, by rocking the famous big L on my chest. So I went shopping in my closet trying to put all my vintage finds to use and this is what I ended up with:

A Vintage Blue girl, rocking our classic There’s No Crying tee with the puff sleeve. Now that’s not how everyone saw me because all night everyone thought I was Lady Gaga.Go figure…LOL. I also styled my sister from my closet and the outcome was a 70’s Pimp:

What was cool at the party I went to at Vintage Lounge was most of the girls were channeling some of my favorite era’s, 20’s 40’ 70’s. There were tons of flapper girls, pin up ladies and disco babes.

Vintage Blue’s pick for the Best Costume that night goes to Elsie Hudson’s interpretation of a pin up girl, she nailed the whole look from the make-up to the hairstyle.

If you have a costume picture you feel best represents our brand and all our inspirations email us a picture at info@vintage-blue.com for a chance to win our Charm School Tee shirt Alice

Wale ft/Lady Gaga Video Shoot

Monday, May 25th, 2009

VB’s Set Free got a chance to catch up with Lady Gaga in Boston on the set of Wale’s new music video shoot for “Chillin,” his new single with Lady Gaga directed by Chris Robinson. Set Free brought her some Vintage Blue t-shirts.

We love her over the top style and how she is not afraid to express herself. She’s the true definition of the Vintage Blue “Rebel” girl. We hope to see our t-shirts fused into her eccentric style hitting the red carpet somewhere.
